ستدخل الخدمة في حزيران
العباسي يستلم الوجبة الأولى من طائرات “كاراكال” الفرنسية
استلمت وزارة الدفاع العراقية الوجبة الأولى من طائرات “كاراكال”، ضمن العقد المبرم مع نظيرتها الفرنسية، لتزويد طيران الجيش بهذا النوع، لتدخل الخدمة في حزيران المقبل، فيما أشاد الوزير ثابت العباسي بقدرة الطيارين العراقيين على إنجاز التدريب واختزال الزمن لمشاركة زملائهم في الجيش العراقي.

وزارة الدفاع تتسلّم طائرتين نوع “كاراكال” من فرنسا
تسلّمت وزارة الدفاع العراقية، اليوم الاربعاء ٣٠ نيسان ٢٠٢٥، طائرتين فرنسيتين نوع “كاراكال”، كدفعة أولى بناءً على العقد المبرم بين وزارتي الدفاع العراقية ونظيرتها الفرنسية.
وألقى وزير الدفاع، السيد ثابت محمد سعيد العباسي، كلمة بهذه المناسبة عبّر خلالها عن عمق الشراكة والصداقة التي تجمع جمهورية العراق بالجهورية الفرنسية، مبيناً أن تسلّم هذه الطائرات هو جزء من عقد مبرم بين وزارة الدفاع العراقية ووزارة الدفاع الفرنسية، لتزويد قيادة طيران الجيش بهذا النوع من الطائرات والتي يتم استلامها تباعاً، بعد إكمال عملية تصنيعها، مؤكداً أن هذه الطائرات ستدخل الخدمة في حزيران المقبل، تزامناً مع ذكرى تأسيس قيادة طيران الجيش.
وتعدّ طائرات “الكراكال” واحدة من أفضل الطائرات في العالم، كما يُمثّل دخولها ضمن منظومة تسليح الجيش العراقي دعماً لسلاح طيران الجيش، كونها تستطيع أداء مختلف المهام وبمختلف الظروف الجوية الصعبة، وبمقدورها أداء المهام القتالية بمهارة عالية، وبمختلف التضاريس والاجواء.
وأجرى السيد وزير الدفاع جولة استطلاعية بالطائرات والتي قادها طيارون عراقيون، فيما أشاد سيادته خلال الجولة بقدرة الطيارين العراقيين والفنيين من خلال سرعة تمكنهم من قيادة هذه الطائرات المتطورة واختصارهم الزمن من أجل إكمال التدريب والعودة إلى أرض الوطن، ليشاركوا اخوانهم في الجيش العراقي الباسل بالدفاع عن بلدهم العراق.
والجدير بالذكر أن وزارة الدفاع مستمرة في خطتها الساعية إلى تطوير منظومتها العسكرية من خلال التعاقد مع دول العالم المختلفة، لتجهيز الجيش العراقي بأحدث الأسلحة والتقنيات العسكرية.The Iraqi Ministry of Defense received two Caracal helicopters from France
The Iraqi Ministry of Defense officially received two French-made Caracal helicopters on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, as the first batch under the agreement signed between the Iraqi and French Ministries of Defense.
On this occasion, the Minister of Defense, Mr. Thabet Muhammad Saeed Al-Abbasi, delivered a speech in which he expressed the depth of the partnership and friendship between the Republic of Iraq and the French Republic. He also clarified that the delivery of these helicopters is part of a broader contract between the two ministries aimed at supplying the Iraqi Army Aviation Command with this type of aircraft, which will be delivered successively upon completion of their manufacturing process. He confirmed that the helicopters will enter service in June, coinciding with the anniversary of the founding of the Army Aviation Command.
The Caracal helicopters are considered among the best in the world. Their integration into the Iraqi military arsenal will significantly enhance the capabilities of the Army Aviation Corps, as they are capable of performing various missions under difficult weather and geographical conditions. These helicopters demonstrate high performance in combat operations across diverse terrains and environments.
The Minister Al-Abbasi conducted an inspection tour aboard the newly received helicopters, which were piloted by Iraqi pilots. During the tour, he praised the skill and proficiency of the Iraqi pilots and technicians, highlighting their ability to swiftly master the operation of these advanced aircraft and complete their training in record time. Their prompt return to Iraq enables them to join their fellow servicemen in defending their homeland with valor.
It is worth noting that the Ministry of Defense continues to pursue its strategy of modernizing the military system by partnering with various countries around the world to equip the Iraqi Armed Forces with the latest weaponry and military technologies.
